Here are some more resources for the T in our LGBT community. So today I give you what I have for the southwest.

Gender Education, Advocacy & Resources (GEAR) is based in Dallas. They offer many resources from education to support and social events.

Southern Arizona Gender Alliance is mainly a support and social network. They have various resources and references to local sources.

Tansgender NM Support Group is pretty much as it says. They have many links. I hope this site is helpful. I'm not sure since it talks very little about the actual process. If someone could do a review I would appreciate it.

The Twofold Group is a support group for central Oklahoma. Very simple to navigate and decent resources.

Here are some more ways to stay fit, get involved, and meet new people. If nothing else go out and enjoy a spirited game.

The Shady Ladies is a softball team in Austin, Texas. If you have seen their It Gets Better video they certainly define support and positive role models.

Boston Flag Football seem to be a wonderful team. They organize volunteer and social event as well as play. Check them out.

Different Spokes is a cycling club in southern California. The lead rides every weekend on easy and moderate levels. If your not into competition try cycling.

Hotlanta Volleyball Association offers social and support events as well as playing volleyball. Go out and join in or support them them seem well organized.

The South Florida Tennis Club offers camaraderie and exercise through tennis.

Today I focus on the state of Texas. Asher Browns tragic Bullying suicide was one of the motivations for this site. So Asher today is in your honor.

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Aggies is the campus organization for Texas A&M University. There is not much on their site but it is worth investigating to find support.

Continuing my youth focus today are some more resources to help out. But do remember just because its focused for youth doesn't mean we all can't find some help on things from online information.

The Cool Page for Queer Teens is a nice and easy to understand guide offering suggestions on a variety of questions. It's a decent starting point to augment the other youth sites I have posted.

The National youth Advocacy Coalition is pretty much what it says. They advocate on LGBTQ youth issues. If your interested in getting involved try contacting them.

Out Youth Austin is a central Texas organization dedicated to helping youth ages 12 to 19 with many needs. All manner of support seems to be their focus.

The Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League is a whole life supporting organization for the Washington DC area. They focus on LGBTQ youth ages 13-21.

It is not enough to be defined by a sexual act or identity. We are much more than that and it is good to share in those expressions with others. LGBT culture is as diverse as any other. Let's celebrate that!

The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival strives to serve the cultural needs of central Texas. They combine serious topics with entertainment.

Lambda Literary is an online resource that reviews LGBT authors and offers support resources for them. If you love to read check them out. They have many links to groups and sites.

The Reeling Film Festival is in Chicago. They offer everything from full length films to shorts. Supporting the works and need of the LGBT community is good cause. Laugh, cry, have good time.

Live! Stop the Hate!

I began this humble project to offer resources to anyone in need, whatever the need. Hopefully to stop the suffering and death of so many of us in the LGBT community. In the wake of even more suicides this week it is disheartening but I shall redouble my efforts and strive to make more sources available to everyone. Project Life Vest is a group striving to create safe spaces for LGBT youth. It is a small group but sincere help is always welcome.
