Aid & Charity

With so many needing help now days I wanted to lend some wisdom to those who seek aid. Know that all places that do help do always do so... properly.

 Being a person of faith I believe you should give freely without expectation of return.  Not every organization or charity follows that way however. I am not saying they can not help but their methods can do harm.

 Some aid organizations help you now and expect you to pay them later. Whether it comes from disability or insurance or whatever.  They may have good intentions but it is a poor system. A boon that may come later to a person or family in distress or need should remain their own. Not be subjected to claim or seizure. It only creates a lesser form of economic slavery. 

In short people can not get ahead. They are repaying a debt when they should be celebrating a new source of stability.  These places may be necessary when there is nothing else to help but they are not right. Charity is only so when you give without profit.  

Help should not have requirements of religion, propaganda, or loyalty. If it does be wary.  

 Aid can come from many places and in different forms. It can be confusing to know who to go to or for what. Breathe!  Take time, ask questions, and collect notes.  You will learn.

At all times be safe. There are always those who may exploit. Just be sensible. 

Those of you not needing help please remember to serve all. We as people progress when look out for one another. Life is about people. Places and things are merely decorations and memento'. 

If you need help just ask. It may take time and you may have to find the right group or people but do try. I truly believe there are resources for everyone on this world.

Crime

 There are so many crimes in the world. I believe we know and hear a lot about the violent ones. The one I would like to mention today is the crime of censorship and erasure. To me it is tied with the crime of violation. 

To many times people are told you can't do this. You can't talk like that or say these words.  You can't dress that way. Those thoughts are wrong. You can't...

This is all bad enough from outsiders but when it begins to include family, friends, and those around you it becomes smothering and defining. As a person who never truly fit the world I have my own unique version of it. 

People don't understand what it is like to be suffocated by people all around criticizing something about you.  Being LGBT we all know something about this. The issue;however, goes far beyond. It is a violent erasure of identity and soul. 

In my own life I keep getting told the world does not work that way.  My answer is "But it could!" Just because others think or act a certain way does not mean I have to.  I choose to be me and act on my thoughts and morals.

If you don't like certain speech you can leave or politely ask a person to refrain from that around you. If you don't like a persons look then look away. If you don't agree then recognize that. Most certainly it does not give you the right to enforce your will upon another. 

One of the greatest tenets of civilization, religion and society is tolerance.  For without it. all is undone. You have the right to be you. As does everyone. Somewhere, sometime people have forgotten this right. 

We must embrace each other in respect and dignity. Equality is not an option. It is foundation. Everyone adds and everyone contributes something. You may not see the thread in the whole but it is there. So are the forgotten, ignored or erased. 

I could go into great detail on this. However, I am sure  you now what I mean. Life must have value and purpose. Everyone must matter. Most importantly everyone must be allowed to be themselves. There are exceptions to every rule and times when people going beyond their own life, remove themselves. That is another topic.

Crimes abound and  there are not enough moderate or help us navigate. I don't expect a perfect world. It would be nice though to have people stand. Stand for one another. Lift each other up. Know when to step back and allow another there own skin and space. 

There is not enough love and dignity in the world. There certainly is not enough action. Don't burn yourself out but be a beacon for others.  We all have a place and purpose. We all deserve love.

Truth

 I just came across someone saying the era of truth on the internet is over. Interesting...  I'll tell you all a truth.  The only question is will you read? Better yet will you change it?

 

Truth:  Today it is said we can not feed everyone. We simply don't have the resources.

 

So lets say 100 people in your town need food. Can we go to a market, store, or grocery and buy enough to feed 100?

Yes, we can.

 

Is there any way to distribute said food to those who need it? Are people and organizations already in place to help?

Yes there is.

 

Is there enough money to purchase this food for people?

Yes!

 

Regardless of being LGBT or not people in the world are going without. Not from lack of supplies. infrastructure, or money. So why do we have this problem?

 

Will, ego, manipulation... Call it what you will. It became acceptable to deny people. 

 

They are not me. I don't agree with them or their lives. I help my own. They are disgusting. So many lines and excuse' are spoken. Yet all I see is people. 

It does no matter if you are left or right. You could be rich or poor. The color of your skin, the language you speak, or even where you come from is irrelevant.  What truly matters?

 

There is a person or people before you in need of food. They are hungry. What else matters?  You can debate this or that, you can throw many plans into the air and delay. But I ask you what matters most?

 

To me I see only people who are hungry. Feed them. Can we save everyone? No, but we can try, one step at a time. 

 

So back to my question. There is enough food, people to help, and money to provide. Will you read this and make a difference? There is no debate. People are there. The resources are there. Do you have the will to make it go away?

 

  Yes it is that simple. It is people who make it difficult or stop it. I am not judging. It is merely me pointing out we can fix this. Why haven't we?

 

There we go, one truth.

Dignity

 It amazes me how some people, after all this time, still can not see what really matters. The issue is not how much we have, but what we don't.  You can argue the glass full or half empty all day long. However much water we have is irrelevant when someone comes and spits in your glass. 

We all deserve to drink forth from a fresh clean spring. This is not a privilege. This is a right.  Everyone has the right to their beliefs but not the lives of others. 

Dignity only begins when we see everyone as human. Everyone matters and everyone has the right to exist. Existence must be worth living, must have value and purpose. 

You can disagree. You can look away. You can choose not to interact. However; you can not deny existence, life, or liberty.  

When you assign a value to life you have already diminished something priceless. No Human is worthless. Value applies to all and is never negotiable. 

Until we agree that everyone should get what they need there is no dignity or life There is only pain, sorrow, and suffering. Have we not bled enough to pay for every inch of the Earth? 

Dignity begins in equality and respect. Those require trust and love. If we can not extend such there is no life, no dignity, and no hope.

This world, our world, has bounty enough for all. It has a place for all. The only limitation to that is us. We must love even when difficult.  

Dignity cost you nothing. It only removes the price tag!

One Light in the Darkness

 There are many times in Human history when the actions of a few can change the very destiny of life. I do think one of those times is now. No one person or group has all the answers. However allow me to offer some clarity on a topic of note. 

Religious freedom is a very important value that should be upheld by law. It is a personal right, not a group one. This must be understood.

Any individual is entitled to follow the spiritual or religious views they hold dear. This right: however, extends only to you. The misguided belief that society must follow your belief is incorrect. We are a people made up of many.

The multitude of us may be of different ethnic, cultural, and religious origins.  There is enough room for all to be who they choose and follow their hearts. When we choose to serve only some we choose to deny others their freedom. 

I know there are many here in  the U.S. and around the world who seek to define their societies by religious views. Society is not a theocracy. Society is Human!  We are all different and we are all free. The first path into darkness is to take away the freedom of others. 

When you begin to deny others you begin to hurt. You begin to hurt others. You begin to hurt yourself.  Just as assuredly as you seek to bring your will across society you open up others to bring their will unto you. 

There is an old saying if you take an eye for an eye, soon enough the whole world is blind. We must value, lift up, and love all.  It is a sacred tenet.  Only then do we see others as equals. Only then do we see value. 

Religious freedom is and always has been personal. Freedom of religion must also include freedom from it. For all people must come to God on their own. If they choose not, that to is their choice. 

The argument that society is falling apart due to change is misguided. The truth is people have for to long become lax on their own principles. If you see failings first look upon yourself. We did not get here alone. 

The Human journey is about all of us. If you find value in your beliefs and you uphold them, live them, others may find value as well. Failing to embrace, maintain, and live a belief system is not an excuse to dictate to others. The only way to win religious freedom is to make it valuable.

If you do not value the whole you value no one. If you value no one I mourn you. Living in darkness is a painful and scary place. Good things and good people get lost. 

I find it funny just as in Lord of the Rings, the beacons must be lit. We stand against the darkness, each a beacon. I have raised my beacon this day. Will you honor the call? Will stand against religious hate. Will stand against atheist hate? Will you stand against groups and laws that hurt? 

We are all one regardless of how some tell you it is us vs. them. We are all valuable. We are all deserving of love. Gather in the light and tell your story. Only then do we see one another. Only then do we hear each other. 

One light now stands in the darkness. I know many others are out there. Let's see if we bring the world into day.

The Greatest

 Someone reminded me maybe I should say something in the current times.  I am tired of our vivid colors being muted grey.  I am tired of senseless death, simply because we exist. I am tired of being told we are less than. 

No more! We are the greatest because of who we are. All people regardless of gender, color, ethnicity, and even identity are great. It is those who can not stand the colors who are not. I am a rainbow and I'm going to light up the sky. 

Even if I go grey I hope the diamond that is my soul splits the very Earth and the colors springs forth dazzling the world!

The problem of purges is they never stop when you begin them. Somehow people always end up ashes.  It has happened before and may happen again.  Hopefully before that someone turns the lights back on.

In this time I do not wish to dismiss anyone or reduce their needs. What I do want to say is while we are at it let's fix it all. Too much pain...

Sadly I could go on and on. Can we please stop hurting each other? Can we address issues when they arise with true justice? Could we protect one another like we should? Can we love, even when it hurts?

Equality and Division

You know there are a lot of wrongs to right in the world.  There are a lot of people who need fairness and justice. We need equality.

I will not sit here and tell the stories that are already clear. What I do wish to add to our discussion is division. Equality does not mean erasure or forceful violation to achieve universal harmony.

The things that make us a great people are our differences. Our colors, shapes, identities, and very thoughts. Sometimes these clash and clash intensely. Books, movies, brands and even statues formed long ago can seem out of touch to us now.

This is fine. It is normal. We must look at such things with modern eyes. We must remove the pain they cause in our minds and hearts. But only there!

When you remove a book from library, tear down a statue, change a brand, or even censor a film you only become pat of what you protest against. We must hold on to and preserve the unpleasant and despicable. When we do not, we only ensure the future will repeat the past.

When you see a statue of a person who has done horrible things you should feel anger or rage and realize by example how far we have come. When you see a film or read a book from a different age when different thoughts were the norm, you are getting an insight to a different time. You have a comparison of progress and a remembrance of how things were.

In my eyes I want you to see a statue of a man who fought so hard for a slave nation so you remember what we overcame, not to honor him. I want you to go to a maintained concentration camp so you can envision the mass murder of millions. I want you to watch an old film and see the comical and side characterizations of minorities. Truth hurts. History hurts. Removing either only removes the pain and the rage. You are left with no reminders.

A world with no reminders is a world doomed to suffer time and again. Group after group. Person after person will suffer and die. Pain in our hearts and minds is a worthy sacrifice for the alternative.

The dangers of sterilizing division are to high. Creating equality by erasing, censoring, and legislating creates one people, one nation, one leader. Maybe we need to be reminded where this has lead us in the past.

Left or right, conservative or liberal the rebranding of a society can remove painful things but the question is should we? Should we erase those reminders? Should we lose touch with how far we have come, even if there is further to go.

For me I say we should keep them. We should hurt, mourn, and be angry at what has been done and leave with a sense of self and identity. We should feel history not just read about it. Only then does it become Human and tangible. Then it touches us.

I have written before about embracing the darkness in ourselves and acknowledging its place. We must sort such things and not bury them. Only through inspection and thought do we resolve. To do that the darkness must be there ready to examine. It won't be pleasant or kind. It may be a hell. But for those of us who have experienced the darkness turning on the light shrinks those horrible shadows and puts into place the crimes of men.

Equality only comes with respect. When we do not respect the past, even with its horrors and flaws we only bring forth that which has been buried. We have all walked enough in pain and darkness. Turn on the lights and look at that which has been done with clear eyes.

To me when I see one of those many things that remind us I stare back with dignity and say I survived you, I am still here, you were wrong, and now your monument is a testament to your cruelty not your brilliance. Let others look. Let others see. Tell your stories, share your heart. Then and only then are we equal.

Oh no I will not erase you. That would be to kind and foolish. Stand and be the what you were or are. You are your own testament.

In a world of confusion, narratives, and swirling dogmas the only truth is in our experiences and Humanity. Equality is innate. Division is good and bad.  Erasure is the tool of revisionists. Never forget! Never surrender your experiences!

Love should always win over hate. Even when things test the limits of our hearts and make it break. We are not one people, one nation, or have one leader.  We are are many in every shape, color, and variety. We celebrate our differences and thoughts. We freely exchange our thoughts and concerns.

We are Human, we love.

Living in Time of Plague

As we now enter the time of the novel corona virus I can not help thinking we in the LGBT community have unique insight into dealing with the plague of a new age. Allow me to share lessons from another.

The first thing anyone must do is to not let fear ravage your life. It is far to easy to let it steal away your power and spirit. Be cautious but approach with pride and dignity. A disease my infect a body but it is still your body and you can journey through it on your terms.

Isolation does not mean being alone.  We are in an electronic age. Call those who may be alone. Call are if you are alone. A voice, a text, even a friendly face can do wonders for the soul.

Make sure everyone who is isolated gets what they need. Even if one must don a bio suit and mask can still deliver food, medicine or essentials to someone in need. No one should want due to a disease beyond their control. Please volunteer, but safely.

Fight! Fight for a cure not a treatment. Fight for the right, dignity, and very salvation of those afflicted. Sometimes they lose their voices.

Remember and mourn those we lose. They are still people who lived or blessed our lives. We may not be bale to save everyone but we can be sure to use each one as a beacon toward an answer. There must be an answer.

For those who are concerned it is alright to sensibly prepare but do not horde. There are only so many supplies in a market and if you take to much you can hurt others. A perfect example would be alcohol. What about those who need daily injections like insulin or other diseases. When you horde it are you now taking sterilization items form them as well?

The greatest thing I can tell you is to love. When you do so many problems begin to fade. So many fears evaporate. Being alone is only a distant memory.

Love in body, spirit, mind. Let it flow where fear seeks to reign!

Communication

Sometimes our greatest gift can be to listen instead of hear.  One requires a heart the other an ear. When words touch the heart we can love. Sound hitting an ear is merely noise.  Maybe it's time we stop hearing and listen.

Love begins when we listen. Communication begins when we feel.  Our joys, struggles, and pain is shared from one heart to another. To not open yours is a crime. Even those who hurt us need compassion and love. If we can't give it we can't get it.

Let's sit down, be quiet and listen to what others and the world have to say. Maybe then we can begin to repair the harm that haunts so many.

Considering the news lately I need to repost this video.

Rape culture is real. There is a network of abusers that support one another. There are those for all practical purposes are above the law. Wealth can buy silence. Power can intimidate. Fame can dismiss the unknown.

The sovereignty of our bodies are our own at all times. No means no at all times. No cancels an earlier permission. A person not of sound mind, inebriated, or unconscious can not give consent.  Youth and the innocent are sacred.

To many don't listen or act when rape occurs. Justice is not usually served and society pays for it. The abuses pile up and from that ugly mound violence, darkness, pain, and death emerge. Sex should be about love.

A Reflection

Every year at this time I urge you all to help others and select links to some suggested sites.  It is not going to happen this year.  You all know what to do and how to do it. It is your turn to make the world better. It is your turn to right all the wrongs wrought upon the multitudes of us so brutally treated.

I don't think I need to point out world events to direct you to problems. You have eyes, ears, minds and hearts from which to observe and think with. If you use them then there is hope. If you don't our world will quickly descend into a Hell and the suffering continues. It is your choice and always has been.

What I will do is give you all some reflections of my life. One lonely person who really fits no molds, designs, or places. One person who has believed in the goodness of man and tried time and again to fight for those others gave up on. One who has been punished for doing so. One who has been broken and lashed out themselves.

I am no martyr. I am just another person. However I am a person! Like all of you I have deserved a life and opportunity to be welcomed, loved, and even protected by the whole that is us all. What I have received however is much different.

In the past I have talked about the sexual abuse by a family member and the quietly hushed under the rug attitude of my family. Ironic, err the slightest offense to them and they scream bloody murder. They demand justice when they refused mine, and others.

A suicidal teen from that abuse got no recourse of concern from the local hospital when I finally reached out. Not even a return call to check on me. The very people supposed to treat you didn't even care.

Being LGBT... I don't think I even need to talk about the sins of society upon all of us. The Internet and world at large is full of those stories.

Faith, all faith.... You fail us.  We have always been here. Regardless of which religious path you follow I can solemnly say if we have always been here so has whatever God you follow placed us here. We have a purpose and place. And no it is no to punish and revile. If God created us we are as beautiful as you. To deny that means you question God. Be careful of judgment and usurpation of Divine right.

 Government.... Where do I begin. We are here. We are citizens. We are equal. Legislation of our existence or rights is and never shall be your power. I don't care who you are or where you are in this world. People are people. The idea you get to pick and choose people based on your preference is wrong.

If someone is actually hurting another then you have a point of recourse but it must be true and not perceived. The idea Human rights are even a thing to voted on is absurd. We are all equal. Any other idea is pure evil because your intent is quite clear. You want to hurt another. That makes you one of the monsters that ravage our world.

Normally I do not like negative posts and I try to minimize my direct life but this year I will make an exception. To all of you who have judged and hurt it is my turn to share my views of you. So we shall begin...

If I were to be true I would judge  this world to be wiped clean of all the horrible people, government, laws, all memories of such now and forever, through all realities and dimensions. Once the darkness was gone and the ghosts of the past and present purged then and only then would the world be ready for a new group of people.

Then I would say all those that start anew never be allowed to be influenced by evil again. The world is hard enough without people of darkness making it worse. To all the faiths I would say we don't need a God. We need a parent. This does not dismiss whatever gods place just their role. To many of us hurt or are left isolated and alone. You can not expect submission from people denied love.

Before I hear a comment on that last paragraph I say to you I am a person of faith.  I firmly believe when I say we need a parent.  We all need love. We need the unquestioning love of a father or mother when we have no other. We need it when those around us fail us, for whatever reason.

This is no condemnation just an observation. A parent loves and nurtures. A parent punishes. A parent guides. A parent cheers us on and helps us make our dreams. A parent protects us. Love, unconditional love.

I think to many of us have become over privileged and unappreciative of what we have. It has become normal to steal, lie, cheat, and hurt. People in power can violate laws and Human Rights without impunity.

Our very neighbors, family, would deny us what they have simply because they do not agree. Pain has become the norm.

I am not saying I or anyone else is above reproach. I know in my own pain and depression from the horrors of my life I have lashed out horribly. That is my point however. To many of us who do lash out are doing so due to not being able to sustain the cruelty dealt to us. Some of us just die. Some slowly and others by their own hands. It must stop.

The world is not ready for the gifts we have. We are not ready for the beautiful minds, souls, and creations of so many. They may make your world brighter but all you do is consume them and want more, and more, and more... Love is not your personal debit account to withdraw from without limit. Love is only sustained by more love.

You must contribute, however you can. You must add to that which sustains.

All the parasites to our system and world must be removed, permanently.  You are entitled to what is given. You have no right to steal.

So do we burn the world clean of that which devours us and hurts us? Do we purge the evil?  Sound familiar?

All wrongs should be righted, no matter who has done them. If that means all that exist disappears or changes then so be it. Then I would say remove all of us with the deep scars from the old world. Why should be carry that into the new. They deserve a chance to not know the horrors of the old world. My last message to them would be would be Love and never allow anything but. Heal the broken. Never abandon anyone. Always deliver justice.

Ironic isn't it.  My reflections are all that is lain against me and so many others. Except mine are true.

As I sit here I can say my reflections go on for so  so long and in great detail. That should not be necessary however. This isn't just about me. It is about so many others all over. I am one amongst many in a multitude. We are wronged and we are hurt. Some of us are no longer here due to it.

My request this year is undo all the wrongs to the beginning. And yes even the dead need justice. Without it we deny their pain and by proxy accept the horrors unto them.

Love, love you. Love others, Love the world. Wash away the hate, the pain, the very evil that poisons our society and let's try again with Love.

Yesterday another attack upon children was announced in the news.

Trump Administration Forces National 4-H Group To Drop Welcome To LGBT Youth, Iowa 4-H Head Fired

Simply because we exist they seek to exclude us from having LGBT youth the same abilities to develop and participate.  Government power was directly used to threaten children. Shame!

How ironic of Robert Browning to say,

"Your children are not dead. They are just waiting until the world deserves them."

And for the people of faith I give you Psalms 127:3

"Lo,  children an heritage of the Lord: the fruit of the womb reward."


Any group or person who attacks the weakest among us who can not defend themselves is a monster. Children should not suffer monsters.

Decree'

Before you begin to read I want you to know these may very well upset you or others. However, it must be said and it must stop. This is not a debate this is a fact.

The other day I posted Queen for a day. I would not be a good Queen if I did not love my people. So with all due love I do decree:

Any person who sells themselves or sells others in porn should not hold Title, place, or position of power. Sex is an act of love. When you place a value upon it or the people sharing themselves you devalue not only the act but the people.

Before I hear one word of counter I will say I am not against porn. If showing your body or embracing others makes you happy, brings people a sense of healing and love then that is fine. It is only when you add a price to it you destroy that which is priceless.

Every person is priceless. Your love is priceless. Never apply a value to it. When you do, you set a value to not just your time but your very love. You then begin to diminish the very thing that makes you shine. You sell the light. Do so enough and you will live in the dark, The dark can be a horrible place.

Sex is about love and it always should be, even when it is just you. There is no shame in sex. There is no shame in sharing yourself. There is shame in applying a value to love. For it is priceless, no matter what another tells you.

I don't condemn sex. I condemn the act of of selling it and the love it is. Some things are priceless. If you do price it you are now a thing to be bought and sold. It is not a normal profession. It is a form of slavery. No person should ever be enslaved.

Those few of you in this dark realm who lure, abuse, force, and violate others for such ends I decree to be enemies of the people. You enslave, you hurt, and you devalue people. May you names be cursed and you be imprisoned as you have done to others.

To those of you who have been led to believe sex work is a normal profession I say no it is not. You are not just selling your time and labor. You are selling your very spirit and soul. No society should ever endorse that.

As I said I do not condemn porn or sex. I condemn the act of affixing a value and diminishing the people. All this being said I don't condemn people who are hurt, lost, confused, or even mentally struggling who fall into bad places. . You all have value and this is what this is about.

Someone has to love you and the beautiful priceless people you all are. If you act in love, share your life in love. Then there is no crime or shame. When you affix a price or  hurt the value of others then there is shame beyond what should ever be done.

Fight for love, fight for yourself. Fight for your value and only give that which makes you more valuable.

All this being said I have one final decree this day. I decree if you our leaders or society can not or will nor take care of one another then you forfeit your rights to title, position, and power as well. 

We only have each other and there are some things you never compromise on. Everyone has value. Everyone has needs. To deny any is a crime. This is not a political statement or ideology. This is a fact of existence.

All people have rights. If people go without when there is enough that is a crime. When people are ignored or hurt that is a crime. When people have to devalue themselves just to live that is a crime. When you don't act in love that is a crime.

We live in a world where there is enough for everyone. It is greed and selfishness that brings us down. I am not condemning people who have worked and earned money, fame, or power. However if you do not use it to help others then you are part of the problem ravaging our great family.

If someone is hungry you feed them.  If someone is without clothing you cloth them even from yourself if necessary. If someone is hurt you help them however long and as much as is needed. 
The idea that anyone is to be cast away or had enough chances is despicable. Everyone matters and everyone deserves love.

It is time we abandoned parties factions, even empires. It is time we do the right thing. Everyone is different and has different needs and problems. It is time we move forward as one or not at all. If you can not see or do that then you are the problem.

Many people can fake emotion and words. But love is. There is no mistake about it. It may take time to see a persons intent or identity but it will show. If you are an enemy of love then you are an enemy of me and all people.

It does not mean I give up on you. It means you need to see who you truly are and we need to help you. The idea if you can not make it, you deserve your place, has shed enough blood and pain upon our society, 

If you will not change in spite of a loving hand extended to you time and again you must go. We have had enough darkness.

I decree love. There will be those who use and abuse my words. They may very well try to imitate me. But judge them in love. If it is not returned question why. Help them if necessary but never dismiss the value of anyone.
