Dignity

 It amazes me how some people, after all this time, still can not see what really matters. The issue is not how much we have, but what we don't.  You can argue the glass full or half empty all day long. However much water we have is irrelevant when someone comes and spits in your glass. 

We all deserve to drink forth from a fresh clean spring. This is not a privilege. This is a right.  Everyone has the right to their beliefs but not the lives of others. 

Dignity only begins when we see everyone as human. Everyone matters and everyone has the right to exist. Existence must be worth living, must have value and purpose. 

You can disagree. You can look away. You can choose not to interact. However; you can not deny existence, life, or liberty.  

When you assign a value to life you have already diminished something priceless. No Human is worthless. Value applies to all and is never negotiable. 

Until we agree that everyone should get what they need there is no dignity or life There is only pain, sorrow, and suffering. Have we not bled enough to pay for every inch of the Earth? 

Dignity begins in equality and respect. Those require trust and love. If we can not extend such there is no life, no dignity, and no hope.

This world, our world, has bounty enough for all. It has a place for all. The only limitation to that is us. We must love even when difficult.  

Dignity cost you nothing. It only removes the price tag!
